Our Review
Chambers’ Rare Muscat and Rare Muscadelle (previously Topaque or tokay) are the greatest of all in the Rutherglen firmament and should be treated as national treasures; the other wines in the hierarchy are also magnificent. Stephen Chambers (6th generation) is winemaker, the custodian of a style learnt at the side of his legendary father, Bill. Sadly, Bill Chambers, OAM, died December 2023, aged 90. -JAMES HALLIDAY
