Our Review
Having notched up a winemaking career spanning over 60 years, including a stint at Seppelt Great Western, Howard Anderson and family started their winery with a focus on sparkling wine before extending across all table wine styles. Daughter Christobelle graduated from the University of Adelaide in ’03 and has worked in Alsace, Champagne and Burgundy either side of joining her father full-time in ’05. The original estate plantings of shiraz, durif and petit verdot (6ha) have evolved, now standing at 2.5ha durif, 2ha shiraz, 1ha petit verdot, 1ha saperavi, 1ha muscat, 0.5ha each of tempranillo and chenin blanc and 0.3ha of viognier. -JAMES HALLIDAY
