Pinot noir of power, chardonnay of both precision and weight, pinot gris of texture and interest. Curly Flat was founded by Philip Moraghan and Jenni Kolkka in ’91, although Jenni has been the sole owner since ’17. It is long-established as an elite producer, a reputation that has been upheld and extended under the watch of current winemaker Matt Harrop. Indeed Matt's separation of individual parts of the vineyard, for release as stand-alone wines, has proven to be both an inspired and a fascinating development. -CAMPBELL MATTINSON
