Our Review
Perth-born Adam Richardson began his winemaking career in ’95, working for Normans, d’Arenberg and Oakridge along the way. He has held senior winemaking roles, ultimately with TWE America before moving back to Australia with his American wife Eva and children in late ’15. In ’05 he put down roots in the Grampians region, establishing a vineyard with riesling and old shiraz clones from the 19th century, extending the plantings with tannat, nebbiolo, durif and viognier. At the time of writing in March ’24, Adam has retired from winemaking and he and Eva plan to return to the US to spend more time with family. -JAMES HALLIDAY
