Penrice Estate Wines

This is a partnership between Russell and Diane Johnson, and Jon and Sally Dean. It started life as an export-only brand, selling wines direct to restaurants, boutique retailers and distributors in the UK. The business focuses on single-vineyard wines, starting with the Dusty Dog Eden Valley Riesling from the small O'Brien family vineyard in that region. With the range now including a Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, with a single-vineyard Barossa Valley Shiraz, the time arrived for the wines to be distributed within Australia - sold via the website. -JAMES HALLIDAY
