Nepenthe quickly established its reputation as a producer of high-quality wines. Founded in ’06 and managed by Australian Vintage, the brand has 93ha of close-planted vines in the Adelaide Hills, with an exotic array of varieties. Nepenthe’s cellar door offers stunning views over our Balhannah vineyard, where visitors are guided through a tasting of wines, many exclusive to our cellar door. We specialise in cool climate, fruit driven wines known for their elegant aromatics and textural complexities. To complete the experience deli boards of local cheeses and charcuterie are available to be enjoyed on our deck or visitors are welcome to bring their own picnics to have on our lawns while admiring the breathtaking view.
