In '08, Greg and Katrina Horner (plus 4 kids and a growing collection of animals) purchased Mt Bera from Louise Warner. Greg and Katrina grew up on farms, and the 75ha property, with its homestead built in the 1880s, was irresistible. The property is located in a sanctuary overlooking the Torrens Valley out to Adelaide, 45 mins’ drive away. Vines are planted in varying micro-climates around the property, facilitating a diverse range of varieties, and are managed according to organic/biodynamic principles. -HALLIDAY TEAM

Our 4-bedroom stone cottage, built in the 1880s, is available to rent.
Facilities
There are 4 separate bedrooms, 3 of which have queen sized beds, and one bedroom has a double bed. One bedroom is in the center of the house so for large groups please consider the access requirements of your group. There is 1 ensuite and 1 main bathroom/toilet including claw foot bath. The bathrooms have been completely renovated recently and have heated floors – which are great in the cool Adelaide Hills. The accommodation is self contained non-hosted, which gives you privacy. Breakfast Provisions are supplied including cereals, milk, juice, bread, butter, spreads, eggs, bacon, tea and coffee. Located near the northern end of the Adelaide Hills Wine Region, we are approximately 45 minutes drive from Adelaide through the scenic Adelaide Hills. Only 30 minutes from the Barossa Valley, The Vineyard Cottage is conveniently located for touring this beautiful part of Australia.
