Our Review
Logan is a family-owned and -operated business with an emphasis on cool-climate wines from Orange and Mudgee. Owner and head winemaker Peter Logan majored in biology and chemistry at Macquarie University, moving into the pharmaceutical world working as a process chemist. In a reversal of the usual roles, his father encouraged him to change careers and Peter obtained a graduate diploma in oenology from the University of Adelaide in '96. The winery and tasting room are situated on the Mudgee vineyard in Apple Tree Flat. -JAMES HALLIDAY
