Interested in getting reduced prices on quality wine, access to rare bottles and first dibs on new releases? Then you better sign yourself up to a few of Australia’s top wine clubs.
Those run by wineries themselves come in a few different forms – but the core benefit includes being treated like true wine royalty. You’ll be the first they go to when releasing new collections. You’ll often be the only ones to try rare museum releases. And you’ll even get discounted prices on wines and cellar door experiences throughout the year. Signing up to a few great wine clubs really is the ultimate wine hack.
But just about every winery has its own wine club these days – with its own rules and offers. So, to make picking easier, we have chosen to highlight just four which are more than worth your while.
Read on to find out more about the brilliant Crittenden Estate, Domaine Naturaliste and Henschke wine clubs, plus our own Halliday Wine Club (yes, look out for our shameless self-promotion).
Crittenden Estate
Domaine Naturaliste’s In the Domaine
An In the Domaine membership gives wine lovers a stack of perks throughout the year. Not only are you guaranteed an allocation of wines across the winery’s ranges, but you also get free delivery two to four times a year, and a 20% discount applied to all wine purchases. You’ll also get exclusive invites to events (with discounts), plus a complimentary seated wine flight (valued at $25) when visiting the team’s own cellar door in Margaret River.
The first wine club membership is called Bruce’s Selection, which sees you receive 12 bottles every summer and winter – consisting of a carefully curated selection of current, pre-release and museum-release wines hand-picked by owner and winemaker Bruce Dukes.
In the Domaine: Option 2 lets you pick a dozen wines twice a year (summer and winter) which are then delivered right to your door. And Option 3 gives you the opportunity to choose six wines four times a year. Pick which membership offering works for you based on how much you want to drink, and if you’d rather pick your own wines or let Bruce decide for you.
Thankfully, you’re not totally locked in with any of these wine club memberships. You can change your order, skip a delivery or put your membership on hold whenever you like. Want to order more wine?
You still get 20% off any additional wine orders. And to make things even easier, there’s no joining fee or ongoing fees – just top-quality discounted wine throughout the year.

Halliday Wine Club
Unlike the above inclusions, the Halliday Wine Club gives you access to wines from a huge range of Australian and New Zealand producers – not just one.
Simply sign up for a membership, and we will deliver two highly rated wines right to your door every month. The focus here is quality over quantity. These aren’t necessarily meant to be your midweek quaffers – instead they are special wines you treat yourself to every other week or so.
And just how special these wines are depends on your membership tier. Our entry-level membership is called the Explorer. For $89 a month, this wine club membership will help you broaden your palate with a selection of highly recommended silver and gold medal wines chosen by the Tasting Team.
The Enthusiast membership is then one step up, costing $139 a month. Designed for both budding wine enthusiasts and oenophiles, this membership will help you elevate your drinking experiences to new heights with our gold medal wine selection.
And lastly, there is the Collector membership, which ranges in price every month (from $250-$400). For this top-tier class, we source Australia and New Zealand’s very best wines – which are often very difficult to find. Understandably, spaces are highly limited for this bracket.
But no matter which tier of membership you choose, you will receive two highly rated wines (handpicked by our Tasting Team) every month – delivered right to your door. And you can pause your membership at any time, so there’s no need to commit to anything long term.
You can sign up to the Halliday Wine Club anytime via our website.
